研究领域
主要研究方向:昆虫发育遗传学。在动物发育过程中,甾醇类激素常以“脉冲”方式进行分泌从而达到精确调控发育和生殖等多个生理进程的目的。昆虫最重要的甾醇类激素-蜕皮激素同样也是如此。如果蜕皮激素脉冲的起始以及持续时间发生改变,通常会引起幼虫蜕皮和变态发育的异常。在昆虫中,蜕皮激素的合成和代谢过程何时开始及结束是调控激素脉冲的最主要因素。目前,课题组主要以家蚕和黑腹果蝇为模式,通过基因组,转录组,分子生物学,细胞生物学以及遗传学等研究方法和手段,揭示昆虫蜕皮激素脉冲形成的分子机理,及其对蜕皮和变态发育进程的调控机制。
